What is the difference between Canvas Inbox and Northeast e-mail?-3
In Canvas, the Inbox called Conversations (Links to an external site.) is the messaging tool used instead of email to communicate with a course, a group, an individual student, or a group of students. You can communicate with other people in your course at any time.
Use Conversations to:
- Send a message (Links to an external site.) to someone in your course or group
- Reply to messages (Links to an external site.) from others in your course
- Filter conversations (Links to an external site.) by course or type
- View and reply to assignment submission comments (Links to an external site.)
You can adjust your notification preferences (Links to an external site.) to receive conversations in your email and or external communication tools.
Northeast e-mail needs to be checked daily. You can check it by going to nemcc.edu (Links to an external site.) and clicking on Email (Links to an external site.) in upper left hand corner or by clicking on Office 365 in the Global Navigation in Canvas.
Official college information and notices will be sent to your Northeast email.
