Athenian Democracy in class assignment instructions

1. Read the documents on Athenian democracy.

2. Divide your group into two teams, A team and B team.

3. Team A needs to come up with an argument/arguments that Athens was truly democratic. Team Be needs to com up with an argument/arguments that Athens was not truly democratic.

4. TeamA presents to Team B, and Team B repeats arguments back to Team A, until Team A is satisfied.

5. Team B presents to Team A, and Team A repeats arguments back to Team B, until Team B is satisfied.

6. Teams try to reach consensus

7. Once consensus has been reached, complete the assignment.
